Stop accounting ecommerce orders manually.

An ecommerce order is never one transaction. It's a sale, GST, marketplace fees, TCS/TDS, returns, settlements and stock movements. DeepEcom turns all of it into detailed, balanced accounting entries — ready to post in your ERP.

THE PROBLEM

Ecommerce accounting is complicated.

An ecommerce order is not just an order. One order creates a sale, fees, GST, TCS/TDS, returns, settlements, inventory movements and stock transfers — each with its own accounting treatment.

One order. One complete, balanced set of entries.

DeepEcom structures every transaction — sale, GST, fees, TCS/TDS and your receivable — into balanced accounting entries you can review and post.

DETAILED ACCOUNTING

Order-wise. GST-wise. Fee-wise.

Every order becomes its own set of entries — with GST split by head and marketplace charges kept as distinct ledgers.

GST is separated by head — CGST, SGST and IGST — for every order, so your tax ledgers stay accurate.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

A return reverses the sale — entry for entry.

Returns produce their own accounting: the original sale, its GST and the settlement adjustment are reversed so ledgers stay balanced.

WAREHOUSES & INVENTORY

Warehouse-wise. Inventory-wise. Movement-wise.

Accounting keeps the warehouse context of every order, and stock — including transfers between warehouses — is carried with its value.

FAQ

Questions accountants ask before they start.

What does DeepEcom do for my accounting team?

DeepEcom connects marketplace data and structured transaction detail into a financial layer. For accountants, that means orders, settlements, returns and inventory movements are turned into detailed, balanced accounting entries that are ready to post in your ERP.

How is a single ecommerce order accounted?

Each order is accounted order-wise. The sale, GST, marketplace charges, TCS/TDS and the receivable are represented as distinct, structured entries — not a single summary posting.

Is accounting done GST-wise?

Yes. GST is split by head — CGST, SGST and IGST — and kept with each order, so tax ledgers and GST reporting have the detail they need.

How are marketplace fees and charges accounted?

Marketplace deductions — commission, shipping, collection fees and other charges — are captured as distinct charge entries so revenue stays separate from the deductions that sit on top of it.

How are TCS and TDS handled?

The TCS/TDS context carried by marketplace transactions is preserved and represented in the accounting entries, along with the order detail itself.

How are returns and refunds accounted?

A return reverses the original sale accounting — including the related GST — through its own reversal and adjustment entries, so revenue and tax ledgers stay balanced.

Can accounting be maintained warehouse-wise?

Yes. Warehouse context is part of each transaction and is carried into warehouse-wise accounting, so each location's books stay separate.

How are stock transfers accounted?

A stock transfer is accounted as a movement between warehouse stock ledgers — stock out from one warehouse and stock in for another — so inventory value follows the goods.

Is inventory accounting included?

Yes. Sales, returns and stock transfers update inventory with their quantity and value, giving you stock movement alongside the financial entries.

How are settlements and payouts accounted?

The path from sale to settled payment is accounted step by step — from receivable, through marketplace deductions, to the amount actually received.

Which ERPs does DeepEcom post to?

The ERP Connector posts to Tally, SAP and Zoho Books today. Supported systems are confirmed as part of setup so the entries align with your ERP structure.

How does ERP posting work?

Prepared entries are posted into your ERP as vouchers or documents aligned to the ERP's structure — for example a voucher in Tally, a document in SAP or an entry in Zoho Books — with the source order kept as reference.

Does DeepEcom replace our ERP?

No. DeepEcom makes your ERP ecommerce-ready. It stays the system of record and accounting — DeepEcom brings the detailed, structured ecommerce transactions to it.

Can we keep our existing chart of accounts and GL mapping?

Yes. Transactions are mapped to your accounting structure so the entries use the ledgers and mapping your finance team already works with.

Can we trace an accounting entry back to its order?

Yes. Every entry carries the order, invoice and source reference, so you can trace any figure in the books back to the transaction it came from.
